Student Membership
Blue Ridge Dietetic Association welcomes and encourages students to contribute to the dietetic profession and participate in local meetings. Students memberships are $12 per year with BRDA, which includes the privileges to receive BRDA newsletters and receive discount opportunities at BRDA meetings. In addition, student members of the American Dietetic Association (ADA) have the right to vote in the national and affiliate elections and be eligible to hold appointed positions at the national and affiliate levels. If you are a student member of ADA and would like to hold an appointed position at BRDA, please contact the President via the Contact Us page.
Scholarships
The Blue Ridge Dietetic Association offers two $300 scholarships each year-one for an undergraduate student and another for a graduate student. To apply, download and complete the application by clicking on the green icon on the left. The required criteria is listed on the application.
